My name is Daniele Margutti or if you prefer malcom. I’m a Mac OS X  and Mobile (iPhone and Android) Professional Software Architect living in Rome, Italy. I’ve started programming when I was 11 years old (with Hypercard!) and I’m a MacOS X developer since 2000. I’ve made several shareware products for Mac and iPhone Application you can see on my Portfolio section here.At this time I’m working as freelancer: have an idea for a Mac OS X application but not sure where to start? Need to create an iPhone version of your mobile application or web site but have little experience with Mac development tools and the iPhone SDK? Who I am

As I mentioned, I’m a software developer. I’ve always loved writing code to solve problems, and I particularly like creating elegant and intuitive user interfaces for our great platform. The job title I feel its best represents what I do is Software Architect.

I know several programming languages I most often code in are Objective-C and [ANSI] C/C++, using the Cocoaframeworks on MacOS X, and I’ve also built more than my fair share of web applications and sites and multiplatform applications (REALBasic, Java SE). I have experience in database languages and platform, especially MySQL. I’ve released various pieces of Cocoa source code over the past few years; feel free to have a browse and use it! that’s free
