    Hello and welcome to this web page. My name is malcom and I'm a student of Computer Science in Rome.

    As you will found browsing these pages I'm a compulsive nerd programmer; my only cure and big hobby is making programs.. computers, mobile devices, web apps really don't care. This the reason because you could found this site very annonying; "normal" don't like these things.

    Ok don't worry, I've a solution; instead of reading boring tech articles you can take a look to my photo albums...
    Feel free to browse around, there are 2 other users currently online with you (and if I'm not wrong I've served 163 users today.)

  • Projects

    My main application platform is Mac OS X (and iPhone too). However you could found some web apps (mainly php) and some other things... something usefull, something marked as inutility.

PDFMergeX 1.0

PDFMergeX - ammetto che il nome pecchi di poca originalità - permette di combinare insieme più pdf, visionare e ordinare le pagine dei singoli documenti. Il programma è ovviamente Universal Binary, ho deciso di rilasciarlo come donationware (se decidete di usarlo quindi potete fare una donazione) e lo trovate qui.

    Bella idea! Bella interfaccia!
    Peccato che … non funziona!!!
    Non visualizza i PDF, va in crash quando salvo, non funziona il drag-n-drop.
    Aspetto la vers. 2? :)

    L’unione si può fare direttamente in Tiger usando Automator. Sarebbe utile qualcosa per estrarre dal PDF solo le pagine che servono. Ottima iniziativa comunque!

    grande software! mi ha aiutato a unire tutte le pagine della tesi in b&n in un pdf e quelle a colori in un altro prima di stamparle :) grande!

    l’ho tirato fuori un pò di fretta quindi mancano diversi dettagli che provvederò a inserire più avsanti. :)

    Per estrarre solo le pagine che interessano, se consecutive, basta stampare in PDF solo le pagine interessate (ddalla finestra di stampa)

    Hi,

    I discovered PDFMergeX just before I upgraded to Leopard. It’s great! Unfortunately, your great utitlity does not work on Mac OS 10.5. Do you have any plans on making it compatible for the new OS?

    Thank you very much for such a very useful utility! s:-)

    Have you given any thought to extending its usefullness to actual converting .ps and .eps files to pdfs so that they can then be used?

    I have played with Automator scripts to do this but, have only been able to get the pstopdf function to work. I can’t get a handle on how Quartz does it. Preview seems to use Quartz and gets files much smaller (40%) than the pstopdf.
